Behind Freedom Attic is Ian Horrocks, an Atlanta born and raised musician. He's been playing local shows, releasing his own albums, and touring the US with his band since he was a teenager. After getting his degree in audio engineering, Ian went down south to work on a farm in Florida. Experiencing a grounded and slow paced life shifted his approach to the world, and his earnest and observant lyricism can reflect this newfound perspective. He moves through life aware of the change that is constant around him, allowing himself to continuously grow within himself and his music. His songs flow sweetly, with intricate acoustic melodies and carefully orchestrated arrangements. His live performances are almost what his music is intended for.
